Got Mealies?

Sugar Shock Cafe
I was doing a version of Judie's Version of BML and still feel it is a very good diet, so it is listed below this diet.  Oh, and I still sprinkle with Pricilla's Pet Glider Vitamins sometimes. BUT I now do a version of HPW diet, but with modifications reccomended by Lucky Glider Rescue.

Lucky HPW Ice Cream

   * 2 cups warm Naked Mango
   * 1 cups honey
   * 3 scrambled eggs
   * 1/4 cup High Protein Wombaroo Powder (if you have a breeding pair with a nursing or lactating female, increase the amount of HPW Powder to 1/2 cup for the female's HPW Diet)
   * *1 TABLEspoon Australian Bee Pollen

Cook eggs, set aside.

In large bowl mix Naked Mango Juice and honey. Stir until honey is dissolved.
Add in HPW powder, mix well.

In a blender add in eggs, bee pollen and 1/2 to 1 cup HPW liquid mixture. Blend for two minutes.
Add in additional liquid and blend for another two minutes.

Pour into a freezer safe bowl with an airtight lid. Keep in freezer. HPW will freeze to consistency of ice cream.

   * 1.5 TEAspoons of HPW per glider
   * 1 TABLEspoon of mixed fruits
   * 1 TABLEspoon of mixed veggies
   * Mealies for treats
   * Gliderade once or twice a week

Hee hee                             hee! ;OD
Sugar Baby No-Nos!

NO corn or other high phosphorous foods
NO garlic or garlic powder
NO chocolate
NO seeds
NO hard pellet foods whether they are for cats, ferrets, or CLAIM to be for Suggies!
NO cooked chicken bones that could splinter

There are, of course, many other possible Bad Foods, which are still being investigated.  Grapes, Peas, Spinach, ANY pre-prepared foods, and crickets to name just a few.  Do your homework and decide what is best for your gliders, do NOT take my, or anyone elses word for it!

The description of our diet I sometimes call "Judicilla's BML" because it combines elements of Judie's Version of BML and Pricilla's Pet Glider Vitamins.

1 c Honey
4 oz Gerber Yogurt Juice
2 oz apple juice
2 oz apple-something juice
10 oz Chicken Baby food
2 stage 3 Sweet potato babyfood
1c Mixed Baby Cereal

Mix these first in the blender, then add the other ingredients. at the end mixing for not too long.

1/2 c wheat germ
3 boiled egg yolks, 1 white

After blended pour into ice cube tray (or gallon freezer bag, if you would rather scoop amounts out like it's ice cream.)

Notice in this version there is no Reptomin and Herptivite.  That is because when SERVING, I then "season" all food with Pet Glider Vits instead.

The rest of the diet (the MIX is not the DIET!)...

Each night the Gliders get about
1.  half a cube each of BML
2. fruits and veggies (fresh, sometimes frozen, but not canned), and
3. live  mealworms, boiled chicken, egg yolk or wax worms, etc..

Occasionally (such as 3 days out of the month between BML batches) they are also offered Zookeeper's Secret, Glider Cereal, yogurt, or Monkey Biscuts.

For a treat we also LOVE Yoggies yogurt drops!
